Our Oliver history starts in the parish of Kingsland, Herefordshire circa 1730 with a Charles Oliver who marries Margaret Boar on the 25 July 1734, whose descendents move first to Diddlebury in Shropshire, through Stanton Lacy to Shifnal, and ending in Glossop Derbyshire with another Charles Oliver who marries Joan Stanley on the 28 December 1938 at Stalybridge, Cheshire.
